Svenska Spel contacted The Generation with a need to modernize and restructure the website om.svenskaspel.se. The site had outgrown its framework and needed a new approach to better reflect the company's values, community engagement, and broad activities.
The goal was to create a more accessible, searchable, and inspiring website that simplifies the work for administrators and provides a clearer experience for the user. The assignment also included uniting features such as a press room, sponsorship, responsible gaming, and careers under one digital roof in WordPress. During the startup, both web strategy and technical workshops were held where structure, target groups, and functionality were defined.

The new website was built in WordPress with a focus on user-friendliness, accessibility, and performance. With a clear visual expression and modular structure, Svenska Spel can now present its extensive content in a more engaging way, with a thread of gaming joy. Features such as advanced search, notification to site owners, and integration with both press management systems and recruitment systems make administration simple and efficient.
The site is fully WCAG-compliant for accessibility and technically prepared for SEO and future further development. With G-Themes' flexible framework and a number of custom-developed features, Svenska Spel was able to obtain a platform that unites information dissemination, social responsibility, and digital communication in a way that feels both modern and sustainable.
