The Center for Business History provides historical knowledge resources for high school teachers and students.
The Center for Business History wanted to renew its website from 2018 with a focus on improved mobile adaptation and performance. The site, which is their most visited, would become more navigable for teachers looking for lesson materials linked to curricula. The client also requested a clearer sender, a smoother map function to display the geographical origin of the articles, and easier contact options for visitors. A central aspect was to improve the content presentation on the homepage and create a flexible structure for lesson materials.

We developed a modern and performance-optimized digital platform with an improved user experience for both administrators and visitors. The homepage received a new look with simplified cards that clearly show which courses the material is suitable for. The map became more user-friendly with clustered article markers and improved filtering logic, making it easier to find local content. Administrators can now configure which content categories are displayed in different sections and select multiple category feeds for each part of the homepage. The intelligent filtering also prevents the same article from being shown multiple times to visitors, even if it exists in different categories.
